TBGF OMOKOROA

Balustrades, Gates & Fencing Omokoroa

Building new in the Stage 3 growth area, renovating a bach near the wharf, or finishing a section in Te Awanui Waters? TBGF designs, makes and installs aluminium and glass balustrades, driveway gates and fencing for Omokoroa homes, built for harbour-edge conditions and backed by a 5-year powder-coat guarantee.

Our Services

Proudly Serving Omokoroa and the Western Bay of Plenty

Ōmokoroa is the fastest-growing town in the Western Bay. The peninsula’s population grew by about two thirds between 2018 and 2023, and Western Bay of Plenty District Council is planning for around 13,000 residents by 2050, with the Stage 3 growth area between State Highway 2 and the railway line opening up a new wave of sections. That means a lot of new homes needing balustrades on decks and stairs, pool fences signed off by council, and driveway gates on freshly finished frontages.

Homes here sit right on Tauranga Harbour, and under NZS 3604 anything within 500 metres of the coast, harbours included, is treated as a coastal exposure zone. The salt load is gentler than a surf beach, but it is still enough to pit cheap fixings and chalk poor coatings within a few seasons. Everything we install in Omokoroa is 100% New Zealand aluminium with a Duratec powder coat and coastal-grade fixings.

We are based at 135 Totara Street in Mount Maunganui, about 35 minutes away, and we already work right across the Western Bay, from Katikati to Te Puke. Every job starts with a free on-site measure and a fixed quote.

BALUSTRADES

Frameless and semi-frameless glass for harbour-view decks, plus aluminium balustrades for stairs and upper storeys, built to NZ Building Code barrier requirements.

GATES

Sliding, swing and automatic driveway gates in New Zealand aluminium, made to fit new-build frontages and lifestyle-block entrances across the peninsula.

FENCING

Pool fencing built to pass Western Bay of Plenty District Council inspection, plus aluminium boundary and privacy fencing for new sections.

We are delighted with the service and exceptional standard of work carried out on our home. The job required precision measurements, design and alignment to add to an existing balustrade. It blends in perfectly and is exactly what we required.

This was for 3 gates and a fence. From the time I first made contact until installation, all team members were friendly, helpful and professional. They suggested different options and the installation team ensured that I understood what height and openings etc was the best solution. Would recommend to others.

Awesome business, competitively priced. We had a 5m aluminium sliding gate installed plus a pedestrian gate...... about a $9K job. Michael, the foreman is awesome, practical, gets stuck in and communicates well. Very good at his job. Great company!
