Balustrades for Omokoroa's New Builds and Renovations

Ōmokoroa has changed fast. Orchards and avocado blocks have become subdivisions such as Te Awanui Waters and Kaimai Views, and the Stage 3 growth area will keep new sections coming for years. Most new homes here are built with decks and outdoor living facing the harbour or the Kaimai Range, and almost every one needs a compliant barrier before it gets its code compliance certificate.

Under Building Code clause F4, any deck, balcony, landing or stair with a fall of 1 metre or more needs a barrier. We build to that standard using Grade A safety glass and engineered aluminium, and we supply the details your builder or Western Bay of Plenty District Council needs. If you are building, the best time to talk to us is before the deck framing is finished, so fixings go exactly where they need to.

For the older homes and baches around the village and the wharf, we often replace failing timber or early aluminium rails with frameless glass that opens up the view. For lower-maintenance townhouses, aluminium balustrades in a powder-coat colour matched to the joinery are a clean, cost-effective finish.
