GATES TAURANGA

Open your gate from the car, the couch or your phone. We design and install complete automatic gate systems — and because gate automation is electrical work, it’s done by certified electricians, not left to chance. Choose from remote controls, keypads, video intercoms, smartphone control and safety sensors, with a motor sized to your gate and driveway and installed cleanly. Reliable, weather-sealed automation built for Bay of Plenty conditions.

We automate both sliding and swing driveway gates, matching the motor to your gate’s weight and span and to your driveway’s slope and available space. Sliding gates suit narrower or sloping entrances; swing gates suit wider driveways with room to open. Every system includes obstruction sensors that stop and reverse the gate, plus battery backup so you are not locked in or out during a power cut — worth having in a Bay of Plenty storm.

Access options are up to you: handheld remotes, a keypad for visitors, a video intercom so you can see who is at the gate, smartphone control from anywhere, and exit sensors that open automatically as you drive out. Components are selected to handle coastal salt air, and the gate itself is made from powder-coated New Zealand aluminium so it matches your fencing.

Already have a gate? We can often retrofit automation to an existing gate rather than replacing it — we will assess the gate, hardware and power supply and tell you honestly whether it is worth automating. We handle the design, manufacture, installation, electrical work and handover, then show you how to use it. Book a free on-site measure and quote.
